How it all started? 

EWART WOODS is a small interior design shop established in 2014 by woodworking enthusiast Maksims Jekimovs. His passion for sustainability has been evident since his early days in woodworking. Initially crafting USB flash drives and their accompanying boxes, Maksims expanded his repertoire to include wooden sofa arm trays and toilet paper storage solutions. With a multitude of ideas swirling in his mind, Maksims sought collaboration with metal product designer Pēteris Ločmelis to bring his visions to fruition. A jeweler by trade, Pēteris is a dedicated enthusiast eager to contribute his expertise to the craft. Together, their ideas grew and expanded to encompass a diverse array of meticulously crafted wooden and metal home decor products, each reflecting their shared commitment to quality craftsmanship and innovative design
